About Ray of Hearing
Ray of Hearing was founded by Mr Jayen Patel, an HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Audiologist with extensive experience in audiology and a passion for providing personalised hearing care.
After starting a family, Jayen felt inspired to create a hearing care service built around the things that matter most: time, trust, and genuinely personal care. With that vision in mind, Ray of Hearing was born.

A Decade of Audiology Experience
With over a decade of experience in audiology, Jayen has developed a wealth of knowledge across hearing assessment, hearing aid technology, fitting and ongoing hearing care.
He is also trained in professional ear wax removal using both irrigation and microsuction, helping customers experiencing blocked ears, discomfort or hearing difficulties caused by wax.
This combination of experience, professional training and a personal approach means you can expect expert advice without feeling rushed or pressured.
